I have had some fun after initially installing Beta 2. The first time I had heaps of trouble resulting from the Nvidia driver 88-61. Eventually the system fell over and would not boot at all not even in safe mode. So I reinstalled and this time formatted my C drive so that everything was fresh and their were no hangovers from the old Beta install as well as ald XP ata. Luckily for me i had transferred my documents and financial recordds to my E drive so after reinstalling Works 2005 along with microsoft money I was able to get back into business.
I am happy to say that, at this stage, there does not appear to be a problem. But I will not speak too soon. I am not yet game enough to download and install the Nvidia driver 88-61 in case they create a problem again so untilk the next Nvidia Beta driver appear I will forget about my games.
interesting experience trying out a beta system. Do not think I will try again but the experience has been worthwhile. The system does look good for the future
